Today we celebrate the new. I am new. I am Free

Today we celebrate the new. I am new. I am Free
By Jaime Hinojos

I celebrate all learning of the apparent old and yet new things. The newness of all calls us all to se it, and contemplate it with renewed senses. Amazing it is to know that in front of us, and behind the face we see there is something new for us to be amazed. And yet, we need new eyes to see the new. As I clean my eyes today, I prepare them to see the things, which will be unwrapped by the action of my spirit, and the faculties of my soul. Others are new and the old perishes all the while the new is being both conceived and born in the unfolding eternal moment of the now. Please, do not dare to get in the way, if you can’t see it, move aside and beg the heavens to grant you new sight, since you have become blind. If the eye is blind, all the body will be in darkness. Remember the blind spots. There are new things that your eyes refuse to see… Why? Ask yourself this question: Why do I refuse to see the new? Is it fear, pain, denial, existential emptiness, or lack of self-assurance. Remember the elephant tied with a chain of certain distance, and therefore, this elephant learnt to move only the distance permitted by the length of the chain. When the chain was removed… you know what happened… The elephant was free, and yet…

He said, I have come to free captives, to give sight to the blind… Do you understand now? He gave the new to us! For us to grasp, to fetch, to enjoy, to taste, to live, to see, to eat, to hear, to embrace, to love, to carry on, to tell others, etc. etc. etc. It is here, now, now, now!

Malachi foresaw it: “the day is coming, blazing like an oven… there will arise
the sun of justice with its healing rays.”

Yes, blind is the one who can’t see the new, or who wants to keep his eyes in the old. Newness is the news, He came to bring good news—please read this again—He came to bring good news. Notice again and again: “Good News.” The news of him are good news for all. The good of the newness affirms the newness of the good.
Inevitably, my mind is new, and renewing itself day by day, hour by hour, and by the minute. It is inside the interior castle. There is association of the bad, the evil, and the crooked with the old. In the end, the new will prevail over the old. The old perishes to give way to the new. He came to make all things new. And the force He set in motion is undergoing right now; at this very moment.
